Tutor matching service – Schedule Bid

Schedule Bid is Oases’s proprietary tutor matching tool that searches your tutor list based on multiple variables — location, subjects and levels taught, availability, specialist skills, gender, online tutoring permissions, and star rating — and returns a filtered list of qualified, available tutors for a new session or schedule. From there, you can assign a tutor directly or invite matching tutors to express interest via email.

After Schedule Bid filters your tutor list, you can email all qualifying tutors with the details of the new tutoring job. Each tutor can accept or decline directly from the email. All responses are tracked inside the Schedule Bid area, and you receive a notification as replies come in. You always have the final decision on who gets assigned — you can also give your client the option to choose from the top responses.

The Tutor Job Board lets you post new tutoring jobs directly to a personalized board that tutors see when they log into their Oases TutorPlace portal. Instead of sorting through multiple invitation emails, tutors can view all available jobs side by side, read the details, and accept or decline from within their portal. Oases tracks all responses and notifies you when a tutor accepts.

Yes. Schedule Bid works for a single one-off session that needs a tutor assigned, as well as for a full schedule of repeating sessions. In both cases, Oases filters your tutor list using the same criteria and allows you to invite matched tutors or assign one directly before or after receiving expressions of interest.

Yes. Oases Schedule Bid is flexible enough to allow you to share the top tutor responses with your client so they can participate in the selection. This is an optional step — you can also assign a tutor entirely on the admin side — making the system adaptable to different customer service approaches.
